X Theme Sidebar not displaying

I’m using X for a website that’s about 7 years old. I used to have no problem with sidebars. However, at one point they stopped working so I did a workaround to put menus elsewhere. Now I need a sidebar.
I’ve set up a navigation menu with 15 links to new pages, a widget that specifies the menu and a corresponding sidebar for each of the 14 pages that are supposed to get it. Each page is set up for content left - sidebar right. The sidebar doesn’t display; the page remains full width. I tried sidebar left and even the default layout and nothing works. I looked at the code for a page and I didn’t see anything obvious in custom css. But there must be something I overlooked. Can someone make a suggestion? Thanks.

Hello @mikevendetto,

Thanks for writing to us.

To have a sidebar on the page you need to go to the Theme Options —>Layout and Design—>Content Layout -->Set the Content/Sidebar.

Theme-Options-Pro (11)

Now you need to set the template a Default or Layout - Content Left, Sidebar Right template. Please note the theme options settings would be applicable globally. If you don’t want the sidebar to any specific page you need to set the page template as Blank - No Container | Header, Footer.

Hope it helps
Thanks

This worked! Thanks so much.
