X theme seems out of sync

I had some issues with updating my X theme to PRO (on Friday). I have since reverted back to X; however, my License is set to PRO. I have been trying to update my pages via Cornerstone and notice that the new elements are present as well as the Classic Elements. Should I be seeing that? Second, as I am typing (editing content) the data is not updating in real-time. I feel like there is a mismatch of files being used at the backend.

Hello @JCQues,

Thanks for asking.

  1. As comminicated via Pro launch blog post, forum tickets, social media channels, you can’t rollback the licence after upgrading to Pro.

  2. Yes, that’s totally fine. To provide continuity we have inclused clasic elements also.

  3. Can you please elaborate regarding data not updating? Is it taking time to update or the content is not updating at all?

Thanks.

Can you please elaborate regarding data not updating? Is it taking time to update or the content is not updating at all? It is taking time to update. There is a lag. At times it seems as if it’s not updating at all.

Hello There,

When you change a text or element settings, there is a delay before the change appears in the preview. If it does not display at all, there must be something that prevents it from displaying. A JS error or conflict perhaps. To assist you better with this issue, would you mind providing us the url of your site with login credentials so we can take a closer look? This is to ensure that we can provide you with a tailored answer to your situation. Once you have provided us with your URL, we will be happy to assist you with everything.

To do this, you can create a secure note with the following info:

Thank you.

Hey there,

The text preview takes a while to update because it sends group of keystrokes to the server rather than each individual keystroke. After it sends, the server returns the preview. That is done via AJAX. The delay is just the right balance because there are web host that limit AJAX requests. If you go beyond the limit, your host might further limit your resource usage which can cause more problems.

Thanks.
