We’ve recently been trying to fine-tune our site speed and fix errors on the back end. We’re using SG optimizer to run caching and to minify the HTML, CSS and Java script.
After turning on the needed options in SG Optimizer we noticed that the X theme customiser page was not loading. After some troubleshooting we’ve narrowed the problem down to the following option on SG Optimizer:
Load Render-blocking JavaScript Files Asynchronously
Add async parameter to the JavaScript files loaded in the header section of your site so they don’t block your page rendering.
When this option is enabled the theme customiser won’t load. Any ideas why this option would be causing this and how we can work around it? We’ve since disabled the option and the customiser is working fine.
