Hello Samy,

Thanks for writing to us.

It seems that there might be an issue of plugin conflict. I would suggest you troubleshoot with a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

  1. Testing For Theme Related Issue
  2. Testing For Plugin Conflict
  3. Theme Update
  4. Child Theme
  5. Css/Js Customization
  6. Increasing Php Memory Limit
  7. Disabling Cache
  8. Disabling Cdn
  9. Permalinks
  10. Version Compatibility

If none of those work, It would be best if you could copying your live website to your staging area. and send your details in a secure note so that we can investigate your setting without breaking your live site. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password
  • FTP Details

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

Thanks

Hello Prakash,
Even at the first point [Testing For Theme Related Issue] I saw that the menu runs with the Standard theme such as Twenty Seventeen. So perhaps it is a problem in X-Theme?

Hi @wuestenblumesamy,

The menu is just working fine using the X theme in our development website. That being said, this issue only occurs on your website, would you mind sharing your admin credential so that we can take a closer look? To do that, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Thank you.

I sent you the data - didn´t you get them?

Hi Samy,

This could be a caching-related issue, please clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

On the other hand, the reason why I say it’s a cache-related issue is that when I tried to switch the theme to a standard theme such as twenty seventeen, the changes didn’t reflect on the front ( I am referring to logout users ) but it is working fine when the user’s login.

I highly recommend clearing your caching features.

Hope that helps.

Hi Marc,
yes, by clearing all caches the menu works now, thank you. But the client had the same problem, so he also has to clear the browser caches?
Another question, what is CDN?

Hi Samy,

Your client also needs to clear all types of cache to get rid of this problem. Regarding the CDN, you can find the following article on CDN and how you can use it.

Hope it helps.
Thanks
