Hi,
I am not very skilled at PHP or WordPress customization, so I downloaded demo theme content (hotel) and renamed, downloaded images through FileZilla, without changing names of the files I changed images to reflect my business, and uploaded it back to the same folder, and it worked fine.
I uploaded the screenshot of the list of same image at different sizes, so that you understand what I mean.
QUESTION:
Can I use the same strategy to add new images to the website (making the same image in 8 different sizes) and make sure that displays at various resolutions and sizes will choose correct image size?
I would name the files in the similar fashion like you did.
OR do you have some other suggestion?
Hi there,
Thanks for writing around! Every time you upload an image to your WordPress site, WordPress automatically generates a resized version of that image for each registered custom image size. You should check out this great article https://wpshout.com/wordpress-custom-image-sizes/
Hope this helps!
