X Theme icons disappeared after update to latest version

Dear support,
I’ve updated my site to the latest version today and to PHP 7.2 in one go. It now turns out that all icons have disappeared. I cleared the cache but to no avail. The public site is https://www.cacadoo-media.de. Just look at the instagram icon at the top right or the hamburger when changing media size. Same for the drowdown carets - everything disappeared. For PHP 7.2 I use the same settings as before. On local dev the icons are still there. Please help me.

Thanks for reaching out.

I can’t find the path for icon files due to minitication, would you mind disabling your WP Faster cache? Then I’ll check again.

And this icon issue usually happens when you update it but the cache remain the same. Clearing and disabling the cache may fix it too.

WP Fastest Cache has been deactivated. No changes at all - all icons still not visible. Thanks for looking into this.

Hi Thomas,

I checked your setup and I see you’ve release candidate version installed mistakenly when you updated X, there was a glitch in our update system which is now resolved (see https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/mistaken-update-to-release-candidate/66970)

You can downgrade the theme version from the RC to the stable one by downloading the current versions from the Dashboard and see if this resolves the issue.

thanks for pointing this out. I downloaded the package and downgraded to the latest stable version. That seems to do the trick. Icons are now back. Everything solved. Many thanks for your help. Great support
