Hello there,

i tried to change the header (color, text, logo) from demo content “silver tooth” to my CI, but it doesn’t work. In the preview it is shown, but when it comes to working on my pages it doesn’t appear and it looks still like The silver tooth layout. Can you help me here?
I already deleted my cache …

Hi again,

Thank you for providing the credentials. I see you’re using cache plugin and this could be causing the issue. Please make sure to purge the plugin’s cache first. if you’re using CDN, make sure to clear cloudflare’s cache as well. Also check for the server’s cache.

Hello Nabeel,

I think (?!) I deleted now all Caches, also in the plugin. There was no change, unfortunately. It’s is still the silverlight header (s. pictures attached).

I don’t know what CDN is, so i most certainly do not use it, right?!

What other possibilities do I have, I wanted to start working on my pages, but with a proper working theme. Otherwise I am afraid to loose all contents, when I need to restart all over again!

Hi There,

The header customisation and custom logo is working perfectly. You can check your site now.
How ever I have added a logo that was uploaded in your site. I am not sure if that is the logo you wanted to replace. According to the logo background I changed the background of the header and menu.

Here is a screenshot for your header background setting and you can browse your site for the changes.

To change your navigation you have to go to Appearance -> Menu then change the menu iteams you wanted to add In the navigation

Hello again,

thanks a lot - it looks much better now :slight_smile: The background color of the header is white now and the silverlight demo is gone … still some stuff doesnt work.

I added another logo in: customizer --> Header -->Logo Upload and it seems that the changes here are not transferred to the pages area.

… I tried one other thing, I changed in: customizer --> ETHOS–> The Navbar Background Color (now a strange red just for testing reasons) and these changes are not shown while I try for example to work on my “About” page …

Do I have to change it somewhere else?

I purged all possible caches … the ones that I now know…

Hi there,

It’s saving okay from my end, and it doesn’t look like your screenshot (list). Please make sure to deactivate your cache plugin since you’re still developing your site. Optimization is usually done after development and in the production stage.

Cache is against change, and it’s like you’re introducing changes that you don’t want to see :slight_smile:

Please deactivate that first, clear your browser cache, then test it again.

Hello Rad,

thank you very much. It helps to know that it does look good on your end … Because like that I know, that it is something that I need to solve, because still it’s not working here.

I think I deleted every possible cache and deactivated the plugin, but still … It seems that I need to ask somebody here who should check on my PC … ah, this is stupid and costs so much time. But finally it will work!!

Nevertheless … a big thanks to you and your colleagues. It helped a lot!
