X theme cornerstone fail to activate error

Hi – just purchased X (and Pro upgrade too… but more on that shortly…) and the X theme uploads fine to WordPress… BUT THEN every time I try to activate Cornerstone, I get this:

Fatal error : Call to undefined method ReflectionParameter::hasType() in /home/intomedi/public_html/intomediastudios.com/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/classes/Util/IocContainer.php on line 40

What’s going on? I have used X before successfully, and built many WordPress sites on other themes, and have never seen that.

NEXT! Pro… I purchased the upgrade, and uploaded, and i get this: A CRITICAL ERROR HAS OCCURRED ON YOUR WEBSITE… so, I went back tot he Themeco account after looking at some threads, and downloaded the previous version. Same thing.

Hi Benjamin,

Thank you for writing in, that fatal error you show is common on the older version of PHP. Can you confirm that your PHP version is 7.4 or higher (WordPress recommended). You can confirm this under Tools > Site Health > Info and find the Server tab and see PHP version. If its lower than 7.4, please contact your hosting to assist you on how to upgrade the PHP version.

Not sure about your second issue, but probably related to PHP version as well.
