I have an X theme with the child theme installed. For some reason my ‘Header and Footer’ have disappeared.
I have checked the following:
1.Verified there is an active menu with the pages for my
2.Check to make sure my template are not set with no Header and no footer template.
3. Checked the theme options to set the navbar.
4. deactivated all my third party plugins.
Problem still exists.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for writing in, is that the site you’re working on below? It could be one of your modification in the child theme is causing the issue, please try switching to parent X theme and see if that resolves the issue, if it does then you need to audit the modification you did on the child theme and edit it accordingly.
If that does not work, please provide us login credentials in a secure note so we can take a closer look.

Thanks for the response. Will try the parent theme. However, I have not made any direct code changes that would affect this. I did make templates from one of the default templates. I presume I would only see issues from a custom template If a page had it selected.
Okay, I guess there was something going on with child theme. I backed up what I had; then switched to X theme temporarily and reinstalled the Child theme and it seemed to fix my issue.
