X / The Grid / Youtube / Edit Skin "Vaduz"

Hello!

To edit Skins in The Grid I usually made a copy and could edit them in the skinbuilder. But unfortunately, i can’t find the vaduz-skin that seems to be perfect for an youtube-based grid. But I need to do some changes …

How can I do that?

Hey Uli,

Thanks for writing in!

This is one of the limitations of the Grid plugin. You can only edit the demo skin or the skin that you have created. You cannot edit several other existing skins built-in with the plugin.

If there is must that you change the skin, I would recommend that you also check Essential Grid because with Essential Grid, you can duplicate and edit any skin with no exception unlike what the Grid plugin where in you are only limited to edit the demo skins. thank you for the infos. What is this limitation good for? Why am I not allowed to change skins to my needs?

Will there be a problem to use The Grid AND Essential Grid? I already use The Grid on some other parts of the side and spent lot’s of time to configure it to my needs, so I wouldn’t like to do this work again.

Thanks for writing again!

The limitation set by the grid plugin developer, to avoid user created damage to the setting.
There is no issue using The grid and ESS grid plugins. You can use both to create diffrent grid elements.
