X Tabs are not working on Microsoft Edge

Hi there,

It seems that the tabs are not working in Microsoft Edge, meanwhile they do work in Chrome. View this page for reference: https://www.zookdisk.com/products/ra4/

You should be able to click on Specifications, Holders, Installation, Literature to view other information. See below for image reference:

Thank you.

Hey Aleksej,

This could have something to do with your Catapult Cookie script or plugin. There is an error only showing in Edge.

Please deactivate that plugin or remove the script and then clear all caches and deactivate your optimization plugin. I can see that you’re using such plugin because I’ve checked your site’s code is minified.

Also test for a plugin conflict first. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Thanks.

Hi there,

I don’t have a Catapult Cookie plugin. I did deactivate my cookie plugin and cleared all caches.

If the code is not minified, then the website is much slower. How else can I improve the speed of the website then?

I will start the plugin conflict test.

Just to update you. The Cookie Consent Plugin was created by Catapult Themes. I have deactivated it along with other plugins and the SCRIPT5009: ‘catapultReadCookie’ is not defined error is still showing.

Not sure if this may help but I’m using the same accordion on 3 pages:
This page (as well as the product pages with the tabs): https://www.zookdisk.com/resource-category/literature/
The error pops up

But when you visit these two pages:
https://www.zookdisk.com/resource-category/installation-guides/
https://www.zookdisk.com/resource-category/certifications/
The SCRIPT5009: ‘catapultReadCookie’ is not defined is NOT showing and therefore the accordions are functioning as they should.

So I ended up re-installing Wordpress. It seems that some code got into the core wordpress file that caused this error on Microsoft Edge.

Thanks for your help guys!

We’re glad you sorted it out and thank you for sharing the solution with us.

Cheers!
