X Settings will not open

I have created a custom post type. I’ve enable Cornerstone for that custom post.

However, when I modify it with Cornerstone, the X Settings, Slider Settings Above and Below masthead panels do not open for me, like it does on posts.

The General and Responsive Text both work fine for me.

Any thoughts on what might be the cause.

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! The X Settings is composed of three parts. And that is the page settings for the pages, post settings for the posts and the portfolio settings for the portfolio. The X settings will be exclusively used for pages, posts and portfolio items. The slider settings on the other hand is only available for pages.

Ah, so custom posts would be excluded from accessing the X Settings. Is that correct then?

Maybe a feature in a future release then?

This is something we can add to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive. Thanks!
