X Setting does not work

Hi, I updated the X theme and now the setting section does not work for www.goossens-brieger.de. I have another site running on X and that works after the update www.erbrecht-troisdorf.de. Where is the mistake? Thanks a lot!

Ok, now I had to update Cornerstone manually and now it works - but I can’t upload anything. It says: LOGO_GBBZ.png
Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2019/04. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

So strange, with the other site I didn’t have any of these problems…thanks for your help

Hey @nadinedomnink,

Something in your server or WordPress install like a third party plugin locked the uploads or wp-content folder. It’s certainly not our products though because they don’t have any feature to do that. And, uploading in WordPress’ Media Gallery doesn’t work also so the issue is not only builder related.

Resetting the file and folder permissions in your WordPress install might be the solution to this. You can try it yourself by following this guide but it would be best to contact your web host to assist you with this because they can easily work with the server.

Hi, another question…I can’t find contact form 7 as a modern version - just the classic one…what replaces contact form7? Thanks

Contact Form 7 is an active plugin and is still commonly used in modern websites but by modern, you mean a contact form that includes a form builder feature, you might want to check out Gravity Forms.

However, please note that these are third party plugins so we do not provide support for these.
