X Pro update error

Hi,

I’m trying to update Pro, but received the following error message:

Downloading update from https://themeco-packages.s3.amazonaws.com/d940c8c440f230138995a40c4daf0904/pro_package/pro.zip…

Warning : unlink(/var/sites/f/framexec.com/public_html/wp-content/uploads/pro-vxjFTx.tmp): No such file or directory in /var/sites/f/framexec.com/public_html/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 1151

How do I resolve this? I also have the following error message from Autoptimize, which I’m not sure is related?

Autoptimize cannot write to the cache directory (/var/sites/f/framexec.com/public_html/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/), please fix to enable CSS/ JS optimization!

Cornerstone has also been very slow and unresponsive.

Thank you in advance for your help! I’ve included log in details in a secure note.

Beate

Hi @boera,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked your website and found that it shows a 504 Gateway Time-out error. There might be some different reasons behind your issue, I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache
7.Disabling CDN

Hi Tristup,

Thank you for responding. I have managed to update the theme and plugins, but am having issues troubleshooting. The problems on the site are fairly small and only intermittent, and so it is difficult to tell if my actions are having an effect or not.

However, I’ve found a potential issue: I deleted Revolution Slider a while back, but having a run a plugin scan (P3), Revslider still comes up as one of the largest plugins by runtime. The updates page is also showing a ‘1’ sign on the menu, but is empty when I access this. I’m thinking this might relate to the same thing. How do I completely remove Revolution Slider?

Thank you in advance!
Beate

Hi Beate,

The Revolution slider was already removed from your website. I am not quite sure if the P3 scanner data is accurate. You can troubleshoot your issue by following the steps in this article.

Hope that helps and let us know how it goes.

Hi Marc,

That resolved my plugin update issue, thanks! Everything else seems to be working as it should, so hopefully that has resolved my problem.

With revslider, I’ve noticed there are still files in my phpadmin (and Woocommerce, which we’ve never installed). Should these be cleaned up?

Thank you for your help.

All the best,
Beate

Hey Beate,

Great and you’re welcome! Regarding cleaning up the database, you can clean it up but cleaning up database data is outside the scope of our theme support. You may seek 3rd party developers to help you with your problems or you can avail One where we can answer questions outside of the features of our theme.

Friendly Reminder: Please make sure that before you clean up your database, please create a backup of your database file.

Thank you.
