When launching the Content Builder for a specific page after updating to version 1.2.0 (the same is vallid for 1.2.1 and 1.2.2), the preview doesn’t show the sections. One can see the header and footer. The sidebar shows the sections. Deactivating all plugins did not solve the problem. Your help is more than appreciated.
Thanks for writing in! I can confirm that there have been several issues with 1.2.1 and 1.2.2. We already have patch update release Pro 1.2.3 which is now available in automatic updates. Could you please update your site again to this latest release version?
After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
Regretfully the given ftp credentials is not working. It returns this error:
Status: Resolving address of home206695896.1and1-data.com
Status: Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NONAME - Neither nodename nor servname provided, or not known".
Error: Could not connect to server
By the way, the theme is already been updated. The cache where cleared and it is still not working. Could you please provide the correct ftp details so that we can investigate further?
Thanks for updating in! I was able to edit the homepage with Cornerstone and see all the sections. I have increased your max execution time and disabled the WP Rocket prior to the test.
I would recommend that you empty your browser cache or use private browsing mode to test your site. In my browser, I did a hard reload several times before I was able to edit the page.
Thanks for your kind support!!! Your advice works with Chrome. But there are still significant issues with Edge and Firefox. Any explanation or information on that browser sensitivity?
Looks like the issue is back, it’s not loading in my chrome this time too. And even by deactivating all plugins, it still the same. Maybe it’s due to zend optimization or zlib compression is failing according to debug.log, or perhaps due to MySQL server is dropping.
Are you on shared hosting? I tried it with clean setup (no active plugins) and still the same. Could you clone it in a staging from a different host?
Thanks for updating this thread. At this time we kindly ask that you open up your issue in a separate thread along with your login details so we can take a closer look. The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. Keeping threads relevant to their original inquiry ensures that we can keep better track of what has been resolved and that users can more effectively find answers to similar issues they might be experiencing.
