Hey Clark,
Please let me clarify some things first before I give the solution.
- The link you posted is not a Knowledge Base post. It is a forum thread. The distinction here is, our Knowledge Base articles are carefully written by a more experienced staff.
- In the thread, I’m not sure why Paul gave code or you would need code when you’re already using Pro. In Pro’s Header Builder, you simply create another bar and insert the UberMenu shortcode inside a Content Area element. No coding required.
- UberMenu does not have a sticky menu option. But since you’re using Pro, you can achieve it by setting the bar with the UberMenu menu to sticky.
- Custom coding is outside the scope of our support. I’m sorry if that was not clarified in the thread you linked to. We can’t write a custom script to make UberMenu sticky. If you want this solution, you can buy the Sticky Extension from UberMenu separately at https://wpmegamenu.com/sticky/
For the solution, please follow the setup in this screencast at https://youtu.be/Dv7Oqkfk4BA
The steps of the setup are as follows:
- Add a new bar and enable its Sticky option.
- Add a container to the bar and in the container, add a Content Area element
- Copy an UberMenu shortcode in Appearance > UberMenu > Manual Integration. For more details about Manual Integration, please see https://youtu.be/JVbbnidUEng
Hope that helps and thank you for understanding.
