X&Pro is not mobile friendly in the eyes of Google

My Pro site looks like a mess to Google which is very bad!

Theme.co’s site looks the same. Do you know why and do you have any plans to address?
X sites work on mobile and responsive but not mobile friendly and google is considering the mobile version of the site as the main version.

As an update I’ve checked sites built with other themes/builders and haven’t found one yet that is not mobile friendly.

Hi @clefler,

Thanks for reaching out.

It looks like it doesn’t load all the resources when that tools check our sales page. You’ll see in your screenshot that the styling are off which I can confirm when I viewed it too. Our sales page also uses an old version of the theme, there is nothing to change or redesign at this moment. Our demos are also unreachable from that tool too, I suggest testing an actual website, like your website.

And I actually tested the site in your account, and it’s mobile friendly

Plus, it’s also how you built your content. Like padding, spacing, sizes, and layout. The theme is just a framework, the final rendering depends on the user.

Cheers!

I did run it again with no change, then ran it again and got the same results you did. Since it is not loading styling properly is this an issue with using a caching plugin.

Just grabbed some random x sites in the showcase thread:

https://fidelity-manufacturing.com/ IS mobile freindly
https://platinumxcursions.com/ NOT mobile friendly
https://phonoliszt.com/ IS mobile freindly

Hello @clefler,

Thanks for updating the thread.

Well it sort of depends wether or not the cached resources that the tool is loading includes necessary CSS files. I tested your website and the links you have shared and can see that second website is having issues with the styling.

I loaded the second website link on my Android devices and they seems to load perfectly fine. So probably user can clear the cache and try again. As long as the website is loading and performing fine on actual mobile devices things should be fine.

Thanks.

ok thx

google doesn’t show the mobile friendly text in the search results anymore so I guess the actual loading IS what is important.

Hi @clefler,

Yes, and robots may sometimes fail to check it than how the real browser see it.

Thanks!
