X Pro - Hero image not re sizing on breakpoints

Hi, I have a full width hero image but when I resize the screen through the breakpoints it just cuts the sides off my image, but I want the image to automatically resize instead. How do I fix this.

Notice how the front hero image resizes almost perfectly without any cutting off the sides.
