X Integrity Masonry Blog Page scattered after update

Hello!
I updated this site tonight as I built it like 5 years ago and going to convert to PRO and refresh. It is currently X and it was up to date before I updated tonight to the new release. (I did it on a staging site but did not catch that this happened. I actually converted the site to PRO in staging and thought it was something in the conversion that caused it. But, upon going to the live site that is still on X, the page is off)

It is the Blog page and it is set for Masonry and since the update tonight it is layering the 3 columns into one and it is also not showing the other rows at all. It has a huge space instead with pagination at the bottom.

Including the link in the secure note. Thank you so much! :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi Noelle,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked your website and found the issue might be with the 3rd Party plugin named Essential Addons CS, I would suggest you deactivate the plugin and check after clearing all types of cache including Style Cache from Cornerstone > Settings > System > Clear Style Cache.
If that does not help, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Sorry, I should have said I already had disabled all plugins and done all other basic steps :slightly_smiling_face:
Disabling Essential Addons did not solve the issue. Although I do need to remove that as it has not been maintained for PRO.

After messing around just now, it is Convert Plus 100%.
When I remove it from showing the info bar on that page, all is perfect. Since I am converting this site to PRO from X and adding a new PRO header, probably won’t use the info bar anyway, but wanted you to know the bug.
Have a wonderful day!
Noelle

Hi Noelle,

it is good to know that you have figured out the cause of the issue. We also recommend that you update to the latest versions. Our latest versions are:

  • Pro theme 5.1.4 OR
  • X theme 9.1.4
  • Cornerstone 6.1.4
  • WordPress 5.8
  • PHP 7.4

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog:

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Please let us know how it goes.

Hi there,

I have the exact same problem with my blog page on pc/big screen display (the second post image will slide over and cover the first one and there’s a huge gap between the end of the columns displaying the posts and the page numbers to navigate). It is definitively Convert Plus that is causing the problem.

Everything is up to date except my PHP according to WP but I don’t know how to update it…

Thanks for your help.

My sites are all up to date in each of those ways, always. :slightly_smiling_face::+1:
It is for sure Convert Plus.

Yes, you can just deactivate convert plus from running on the blog page. Then it is fine. Update PHP through your hosting. I do it myself but most hosting providers will do it while you are on support chat. :slightly_smiling_face:

The problem is that I don’t want to deactivate Convert Plus, it’s serving me… ;(
Yes, I’m going to contact my provider but it seems that it won’t solve the initial problem…?

Update : ok, I don’t know what happened overnight but this morning the blog page was working perfectly…!!
Thank you anyways :*

Are you sure? :slightly_smiling_face: When I click on your link the posts are still layering. You’re getting more rows, but then the first row columns all gather to the left. When I said deactivate convert plus, I meant only on that one single page. It is a is until it gets fixed. Hope that helps. Let us know if you see what I see on your site that it is still happening so Themeco knows it is an issue.
:slightly_smiling_face: Have a wonderful day!

Hi @ddebauve,

I have checked and found that the issue has been resolved.

Thanks

How come you say this when I click on her link it is not fixed?? I am on mobile and iPad Pro and page is still layering the blog post in the first row. I literally watch it scoot over on top. How did you view it?

Hi @Noellemena,

Pro 5.1.4 is now available in automatic updates! This release contains fixes for several issues, like you have mentioned above, so be sure to check out the changelog (https://theme.co/docs/changelog/pro-5). Please do update to the latest version. After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

And please clear your browser cache too. You may use private browsing mode in testing your site to make sure that you are viewing the latest codes from the updates and not the cached version in your browser.

Kindly let us know how it goes.
