X-integration problems

Hi, in a recent post I have received support for a problem with grid builder and you have told me to disable x-integration to resolve this isseue.

I have made some test and disabling x-integration the wp bakery page builder elements structure breaks. For example, some content band calsses are disappeared and this is a serious problem. Another issue: it’s not so good to see the page builder code inside content elements.

The problem I have to resolve with grid builder is described here https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/problem-with-x-theme-and-grid-builder/43104/5

So, I have to find a solution. I think it’s not a good service for us, that we are paid clients, to be so limited in x-theme use and customization.

If there’s no possibility to find a solution with x-integration, give me please some other solution outside grid builder for build a custom post grid.

Thank you very much

Hi @Ghiotto,

Thanks for reaching out.

Disabling X Integration will, of course, disable elements added by the theme to the visual composer, hence, the codes will be displayed as they are no longer available. So please enable X integration again and use the available features provider to its.

And the grid builder is not integrated into the theme and cornerstone, hence, it may behave differently. The only integration it has is for classic elements. Unfortunately, if you wish to use the visual composer with its full feature and as standalone, then you’ll need to remove the integrations and start again and by removing those contents that are added while integration is active.

Thanks!

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately I can’t start again.

I have tried to not use page builder and use instead Cornerstone, but it hasn’t a customizable post grid, so in this way it’s limited.

So, you can tell me where the X theme set that additional zone images of grid builder must be 150x150 and then I can override this rule. I don’t ask you to tell me how, only where to start, since you know all the X structure better then me.

Thank you very much

Hello There,

With X integration, we have made our own VC elements which is why you would noticed that there are elements in blue with black icons which is our own VC elements (http://prntscr.com/kzyptc). The native elements were hidden and disabled by default when X integration is enabled.

The grid element that you are using is a native element. When you create a grid and insert a single image, it is there in the single image settings where you can select the image size:

And if you are using Post Image, you can also set the image size in the Post Image settings:
