X Google Analytics plug in not working

I activated Google Analytics, I copied the tracking code from Google Analytics to the extension.

Unfortunately it does not seem to work, neither the real time tracking does work nor does Google Analytics show some visitors and I no for sure there have been visitors.

I deactivated the X Google Analytics plug in and emptyed all caches exept Cloudflare and activated the plug in again and pasted the tracking code from Google Analytics to the plug in again.

I am ad this for some days and checked all Google Analytics settings over and over again, but the problem must be the X Google Analytics plug in

I can see you have cache plugin installed, please make sure to clear your cache after adding your tracking code.

I found a topic with (I tought) a sollution and went to File Manager - WP Content - Plugins - X-Google-analytics - Functions - Options and replaced the code on line 30 with the following code:

$tco_google_analytics_options[‘tco_google_analytics_code’] = stripslashes( wp_kses( $_POST[‘tco_google_analytics_code’], array( ‘script’ => array( ‘async’ => array(), ‘src’ => array() ) ) ) );

Google analytic is still not working.

I did clear my cache after adding the tracking code,

On this moment tracking code is gone (not visible) after paste and update analytics plugin??

Hello There,

There is a known issue with the plugin and it removed the script tags when you insert the tag manager code. We do not have a fix yet.

I would recommend that you use alternative Google Analytics plugin like (https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/43) for the moment.
