X Email Form Now Registering Each Subscription as a New User

Hello,

I have an X Email Form that collects emails from users and adds them to a MailChimp list. However, recently it has started to also register a New User in WordPress for each new subscription I get. This is not desirable, as I don’t want all these customers to be registered as Users.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Paul,

I thought this option adds whoever is registered as a new user to my MailChimp mailing list, and not vice versa? My problem is that new mailing list users are added to WordPress as users…

Please let me know if I’m misunderstanding.

Hi There,

That option Opt-In New Users would be used to subscribe your users to your MailChimp list.

This WordPress user creation functionality is not handled by X’s MailChimp extension. Could you please try disabling your other MailChimp addons/plugins and re-test this issue again.
