X: E&P form off canvas

Hello,
i’d like to show a simple E&P form off canvas.

I tried the following:

  • Put an “content-area off canvas” element on the page
  • Write the form’s shortcode in the off-canvas HTML-area

At first sight, it works ok. The first step of the form is shown correctly, but the button that should lead to the second step does not work. I can press it, but nothing happens.

Of course I did test the form in the preview of the form-generator - everything works perfect there.

What can I do to get the form working off canvas?

Best regards

Uli

… and a second question to the same item: The toggle for the off-canvas-form (red button “Fragen?”) should be shown in the right column (2/3 - 1/3). It is there in the cornerstone view, but in the “live” view in firefox and chrome, it’s under the the left row instead of left of it.

What’s wrong here?

Best regards

Uli

Hey Uli,

The Content Modal currently has a problem displaying forms. Additionally, E&P forms should not be used in Javascript controlled interfaces like a modal because it may conflict. For now, you should put your E&P form in a Text element.

Thanks.

Hi Christian,

thanks for the feedback. It would have been nice, to have the form off canvas. I hope there will be a solution soon.

Best regards

Uli

To test another way of doing it, I did the following:

Added a new row with some sample text in the left column and a popup-shortcode for the form.

  1. The form is shown correctly, but still nothing happens clicking on the button for the next step. Additionally the button has the default-color instead of beeing blue as defined in the design tab of the form. In the form preview, the colours are correct.
  2. The link to the form ist shown correctly in the right column, while the same link, placed besides another form one row above, is shown under the first column istead of in the second column.

Can you help?

Uli

I have to change the concept due to a new descion process, so I’ll stop this ticket for now.
