X Demo Importer failure 10/2025

Hello!

I’m having issues with the XDemo importer. Trying to import the Band theme to a new install.

It reports a “X Demo Importer failure” with the error code of

[Exception: TypeError: ‘caller’, ‘callee’, and ‘arguments’ properties may not be accessed on strict mode functions or the arguments objects for calls to them at get arguments () at Object.invokeGetter (:3:28)]

Double checked the php settings and it matches what is reccomended in another thread with this error

PHP max input variables 1000
PHP time limit 300
PHP memory limit 512M
Max input time 300
Upload max filesize 512M
PHP post max size 516M

The web console shows the site hitting {website_url}/?cs-legacy-site-import=1 and returning once with

But then following up almost imediatly with a 500 error

Hello Ian,

Please go to Tools > Site Health > Status. You will notice that there are performance issues that need to be addressed, particularly your Outdated SQL server. Please make sure to update it to at least the minimum requirements to run WordPress. You can check out these articles:

Wow I never would have guessed the website I just spun up would be that out of date. Let me see if I can fiture this out. Thanks so much for the help @ruenel
