X crash after update

Hi,

For several times i have tried to update the xtheme of this website: https://oosterleeschool.nl/.
Unfortunately everytime this site crashes, i have tried many things but nothing seem to work.

Could you please take a look for me?

Hi Sanne,

Thanks for reaching out.
I would suggest you update the X theme by following the below steps.

1. Delete the Cornerstone version 4.2.3 which installed at your site
2. Update the X theme to the latest version i.e. 8.3.3 on automatic updates
3. After the X theme is updated, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. It will be at the latest version

If that does not helps, and the site crashed again. I would request you to please copy your live site to a staging server.
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– FTP/CPanel credentials for file access

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Hi Sanne,

I would suggest you please copy your live site to a staging server and try to update the theme by the given steps above. If that does not help, please let us know the credentials of your staging server for further investigation.
