X-child theme not working

hey there

after updating my child theme doesnt work anymore i tried to redownload it here

but it is saying it is not working (parent theme not installed)

can you help me? :slight_smile:

Thanks for writing in.

I have checked the site and logged but the login details you provided is not an admin users so I was not able to access anything.

By updating, do you mean you updated some codes through the child theme because you should not need to do a version update to the child theme but only the parent theme.

i updated only theme x of course but now my child theme is not working anymore

i changed the user role so u can have a proper look

Thanks for updating the details.

It looks like there are some files of the parent theme that got corrupted during the update.

A solution would be to manually install X (parent theme) through FTP. Please follow the steps here:
