X Bug? - Classic Buttons formatting issue

Hi Team…

Please review and assist in resolving below. Why the formatting of classic buttons skews in live site… Have to use classic elements because using the new elements in classic rows / classic pages is a complete debacle…

Something to do with the classic gaps?

Sam

Solved

Previous Block Grid element was still located in the skeleton view of Cornerstone… even though it wasn’t showing in the main Cornerstone view…

Sam

Glad to hear you got it sorted, Sam.

Cheers!

Hi Jade

Technically there’s still an issue but it seems to be to do with Cornerstone - where an element was deleted and not showing on the front end of Cornerstone, but was still active in the skeleton view of CS.

Not sure whether this has been noted by anyone else.

Thanks
Sam

Hi Sam,

No that should not happen.

Do you have cache plugins? Please flush the cache and turn them off.

Also turn off all third party plugins to test for plugin conflict.

If the issue persists, can you point the specific element or how can we replicate the issue and provide your wp admin credentials in a secure note?

Thank you

Hi Joao

Sorry mate, don’t have time to replicate potential bugs. Only advising of possible bugs when I come across them.

Please have the Themeco support/dev team attempt to replicate at their end via internal testing processes.

Regards,
Sam

Hello Sam,

Maybe you have deleted block grid item content but the block grid element is still there? As you can see, block grid element can have multiple block grid item. Deleting all block grid item, means there’s nothing we can see but the main block grid element is still there. We can access and delete then on the skeleton view. That’s the closes I can get when I test. Can you confirm?

Hi Lely

It could have been that, but I wasn’t able to ‘select’ the Block Grid (without any elements in it) or anything for that matter from the front-end - to then delete that as well. Had to go through skeleton.

Maybe check that the empty block-grid is able to be selected on Cornerstone front-end to be able to delete (in different environments/circumstances eg. classic & pro elements on one page)

Thanks
Sam

Hello Sam,

In that case, I will just add an enhancement/usability request where in it will delete entire block grid element once the last block grid item is deleted.

Yep, that or one where you’re unable to delete ALL block grid items (I think this is the same with the Accordian from recollection?), and then you have to delete the actual Block Grid itself to remove the whole thing.

Cheers,
Sam

Noted. We’ll forward this to our web development team. Thanks
