X and WPML compatibility issues

Hi,

My site is newsite.storeitcold.com.

I’m having two issues when using WPML with X.

  1. When I change the language to Spanish (by clicking on the Spanish language switcher at the bottom left of the page), the main menu gets completely messed up in the translation. How can I fix this?

  2. Clicking the Spanish switcher on the home page takes me to the Spanish version of our product page. How can I make it so it takes me to the Spanish version of the home page.

Hey @Web_Services,

You’re using a later version of WPML than the one listed in our Version Compatibility list. You will need to downgrade to the compatible version first.

If the first issue persists even after downgrading, please first clear your caching plugin and deactivate it. Then, give us screenshots of the issue or how we can replicate the issue.

Your 2nd question is not related to the theme. It looks like you have a redirect to your product page. Please try clearing your permalinks. If this doesn’t help, please try contacting WPML’s support as they probably have more insights as to why the page is redirecting to the product page.
