Wrong text output?

Hi,

Back in 2019 - before it was possible to create layouts in Pro, I made Blog archive page. That page is still active but when layouts in Pro became a thing I made a new design for that page with new text. However - when I look at the page in the WP editor, I can see the old text from way back? So - when creating a layout on an existing page, it doesn’t overwrite the old text?

Hi @Kobber,

Thanks for reaching out.
It is not very clear what problem you are facing. The Layout can be made separately and can be assigned to the Blog page, and in that case, the layout content will be shown if the Blog page is shown.
If that is not the case and you are trying to point out something else, can you please explain a bit more?

The text highlighted in the image from the WP editor is old text from several years back. That text is not on my blog page anymore - but it’s still visible in the code in the WP editor?

Hi @Kobber,

Once you set that as a blog page, the content will not be shown. If you set the layout for that page, as I said before it only shows the layout content only. But the page content i.e. code will remains as it is.
