WPML with Pro pages not saved translated

Hey Themeco-Support,

I set up a page with the ProTheme and the WPML-Plugin. The Site ist set up in German and English. The pages in English were duplicated from the German ones. I changed all content of the several pages to English. But after a while the English pages changed backed to the German content and I need to edit the English version again. This happend to several pages, even after I edited them again. Now I deleted them and set up the English translation as blank and worked with the template manager. Is this a known behaviour or bug of Pro using WPML?

Thanks for reaching out.

It’s not a known issue or bug, but I did see similar cases like two or three. And it’s not happening on my installation so it could be specific to a user setup. And up to now, I still can’t reproduce it on any of my installations.

May I know which pages are still affected? So I’ll only limit my testing on those pages and since you also said you already deleted them. For the meantime, please make sure your pages are translated independently by editing the translated page and click this button

thanks for your help – your tip is the solution to my problem. The error described disappeared as I set up the translated pages as independent translations.
