Hi,
Our contact page has been translated via WPML, but when accessing the published version, it only displays the raw code instead of the title and form.
Any idea why this is happening? Other translated pages seem to work fine.

Hi There,
Thank you for the credentials.
Can you clarify how did you do the translation? Try checking this thread: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/wpml-x-theme-not-working-correctly/10399/5 specially the video Cornerstone Translation.
Hi Lely,
I used WPML’s instructions to translate the pages (using WPML’s Translation Editor):
The process worked fine for other pages (except for all the V2 elements - only classic elements are translatable using the editor at the moment, but I have seen another forum post about this already).
I have also looked at the video that you shared with me. The process is indeed different, but I’m afraid that your staff’s comment on how to do translations is inaccurate. Using the translation editor does not just create alternative versions of pieces of text, pages in each language are indeed also created.
The process shown in the video is very inefficient. As you can see in the video, after the original page is edited, the translation is redone from scratch. Plus, selectively adding the new or edited elements to the template would require the translator to know what changes have been made to the page, which often not the case (translator is often a different person that the one designing the page). The translation editor tracks edits in a page, enables a translator to quickly see what texts have been changed/added, new images that have been added, new links that may need to be localised, etc.
I’ll add some example links to pages that were successfully translated via the WPML’s translation editor.
Is there any reason why the page would only display the raw code as text instead of actually displaying it?

Best,
Hi There,
For the time being, please try @Rad’s suggestion as an alternative. There’s a known issue v2 elements with WPML. I can see you are using classic element, but the the issue those elements are inside those generated column shortcode that is saved on post meta and not being detected.
Understood and done, thanks.
Any idea regarding the estimated date for WPML compatibility with v2 elements?
We are currently sticking to classic elements as much as possible to be able to use WPML’s translation editor.
Hi There,
Thanks for understanding! We cannot provide any ETA as our developers are currently working on it.
You can check our changelog (https://theme.co/changelog/), once a new update has been released.
Thanks!
