Wpml translate woo layouts error

Hi there,

when trying to translate the woo archive layout, cart and account page, i got an error and i cant edit the page.
can you look at it?

Hey Harry,

I think there’s an issue with translating the mentioned WooCommerce pages as I’m having trouble in my test site as well. With that said, I’ll post this issue in our tracker so this case will be queued to be investigated by our development team.

For now, please change your WPML Permalink structure from default to a pretty permalink.

hi,
that did not work for me. i have to finish this now. will let you know when you can look again on the staging site. will post all errors that happened now.

Did you change anything in the functions.php and other php files? because i transfered it from staging to life and now some code is missing…
pls let me know what you did

okay i added the missing code.
but there is now a lot of stuff you added.
can you pls advice me what you added, so i can delete it on the live site.

it would have been great if you had written here that you had changed something. i didn’t know that and so of course continued working right away…

Hey @deranaloge,

I haven’t added anything but switched to the parent theme. You can switch back to the child theme if you like but I’d recommend keeping the parent theme activated on the staging to save us a bit of time when troubleshooting.

hm, something strange is going on. when i switch back to the child theme, i got a fatal error…

Hello @deranaloge,

I checked your staging site it seems that there is no error at the moment, it seems that you have activated the parent theme at the moment. Please note we don’t provide customized child theme support. It is out of the support scope.

hi,
christian switched from child to parent theme.
now when switching back to child theme, there is an error. i cant switch back…

I understand your frustration but we can’t provide support for the child theme. That is even if it resulted in an error after switching to the parent theme (which is unlikely the cause of the child theme issues).

Our main responsibility for this case is only to report issues to our development team. Please kindly wait for further investigation. If you can’t wait, please restore your site using a working website backup.

hi there,
the issues i described in the first post are still there, even if i use the parent theme. the has errors and blank pages, it feels like something is broken.
what cacn i try to bring the child theme back? i now installed on my local and get following errors:
