WPML + Pro + Cornerstone

Hi,

I’ve been building a site with Pro and have recently added WPML as I need to display the site in French as well as English.

I’ve been trying to create French versions of the pages in the Pro editor, and also in the Pages / Post menu by clicking the + sign. I’ve also tried to create translations by duplicating the page in the page editor.

I’ve even disabled all plugins apart from WPML and still I get the same error.

Looking at the console, it seems there are a number of 500 errors, and checking with my host, ‘FlyWheel’, they pointed out the following line from the PHP error log.

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Wrong parameters for Exception([string $message [, long $code [, Throwable $previous = NULL]]]) in /www/wp-content/themes/pro/cornerstone/includes/classes/models/class-model-content-content.php:87

I built a site with WPML and X-Theme last year and found it a very similar experience! Super frustrating and not at all intuitive.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for writing in! Could you please update to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:

• Pro theme 3.2.3
• WPML 4.3.18
• WordPress 5.5.1
• PHP 7.2 or higher

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog:

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

If nothing is helping, provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WP login URL
– WP username
– WP password
– WP Administrator Role
