Wpml flag buttons

hi,

I have 2 problems with my wpml flag buttons:

1. Right now it´s vertical aligned, I would like to have them horizontal next to each other.

2. How can I make them bigger? I tried with CSS but it didn´t work. Now the the kinda pixelated. Also they are not round like the file I initially uploaded.

Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible within the builder and it’s also configured within WPML. I recommend setting your language switcher to dropdown instead of list. That will make sure the flags are group together instead of flag for each menu item (separated items like other menu items).

The sizing of the flags are also imposed by WPML and it will always resize to 18x12 pixels, please check this https://wpml.org/forums/topic/custom-flag-being-resized/. I recommend contacting WPML for the changes you preferred with the switcher, the integration is applied through them. They offer a solution from that URL but I’m not sure if it works.

Ok I see. so I can not even align them next to each other? just vertical?

Within or as part of the Navigation Inline element, no, you can’t align them horizontally without writing custom CSS. What you can do is use WPML’s Custom Language Switcher Shortcode. Please refer to WPML’s documentation for more details: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-switcher-options/

Set up the Custom Language Switcher and insert the shortcode in a Content Area element. The setup should look like the following screenshot.
