WPML Edit with Pro or WPML-editor

Hi there!

I am trying use WPML on my site and can not seem to get it to work properly. What is best practice with WPML? Is it to use their own editor where I copy the text fields or is it to edit the translations directly in PRO by using the flags in the bottom right hand corner?
