WPML cornerstone bug (again)

Hey guys,

I previously posted a topic saying that there was a compatibility issue with PRO and WPML.

After spending some time going back and forth with your colleagues they came up with the solution here

https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/wpml-cornerstone-bug/60867/4

So even using the instructions and downgrading etc … i still get that same error message when trying to go back and make changes on the translated page.

This is slowly getting very frustrating - as this project is lagging only due to this.

The logging info will be in a secure note.

Hello Satcheen,

Thanks for writing in!

Pro 3.0.1 is now available in automatic updates! This release contains fixes for several issues, like you have mentioned above, so be sure to check out the changelog (https://theme.co/changelog/). Please do update to the latest version. After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Please let us know how it goes.

I ran the update as suggest and took the time to update all the plugins (WPML & Woo-Commerce) that your colleagues had suggest to downgrade.

The bug continued to persist - the simple fix to this was to change the language url format. It turns out that there is a bug if you use the “language as a parameter” setting in WPML - the builder get a 404 for the requested page and won’t load the preview.

Long story short - use the “different languages in directories” setting and all works fine !

In case someone else comes across this problem.

Hey Satcheen,

We’re glad that you were able to sort out the issue. And, thanks for sharing the solution.
