WPML breadcrumbs problem

Hi there,

I am translating my website using WPML, which is mostly okay, but I have the problem, that the breadcrumbs on my translated portfolio items are not using the language slug, and therefor points to a 404 page.

My portfolio is on the page /da/projekter but the breadcrumbs just point to /projekter. I have not been able to find a solution to this issue. I even tried setting up a redirect, but it still ends up on the non-existing page.

Thanks for reaching out.

It works okay on my installation, the breadcrumbs only display the URL given by Wordpress altered by WPML (get_permalink()). Though, it could be due to the way it’s translated since the page only exist once and you only use advance string translation to translate it.

I like to change the translation setting to confirm this, but your site is live and I’m afraid I may damage your existing translations. Would it be okay if you create a clone of your site as staging?
