WPForms Lite Breaking Pages

Hi,

WPForms Lite is breaking my website. Going through the plugin conflict process, WPForms Lite has been identified as the culprit.

When WPForms Lite is activated my sticky header is not sticky and none of the text elements with transform effects display at all - there is little or no content visible on any page.

Please help.

Thanks,
Christopher

Hi Christopher,

Thanks for reaching out.
There might be some different reasons behind your reason, I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache
7.Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps and you are still getting the issue, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access to the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I have contacted the plugin author for support as well. However, this seems to be a direct conflict between WPForms Lite and Pro.

Deactivating all plugins except for WPForms and the original problem still occurs.

A staging website has been created, details in the Secure Note.

Thanks,
Christopher

Hi Christopher,

I have checked all the pages and found that the problem is only in these two pages, the rest of the pages are working fine. I have saved the page content by Save Template then created a new page and loaded the template using Load Template and the problem persists. I have also tried the same setup in my local environment but the issue can’t be replicated. It seems that the problem is with the content or the effects set to the Text elements of these two pages, I would suggest you check by deleting the section of the specific pages one by one or disabling the effects till the issue is fixed, and the last one you have deleted before the fix is the actual issue.

I have tried disabling the effect of a single text element and it worked. I would suggest you go through the suggested troubleshooting and if that does not help, please let us know for further investigations.

Thanks

Hi Tristup,

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I have identified the cause with your guidance. There were way more than the two pages affected. Another four pages in the main menu had the issue, as well as about 50 pages not in the main menu!

On each affected page there were two Form Integrations with Scrolling Animation. By simply changing the Exit Animation from the default “Roll Out” to “Fade Out”, the page suddenly performed correctly and the second vertical scroll bar disappeared from the page.

Many thanks for your quick support,
Christopher
