My site is hosted on WPEngine and whenever I try to deploy back to my production site from my staging site the process fails, meaning I get a 500 error and the site is essentially down.
I know other WPEngine-hosted X Theme users have similar problems, so I’m just hoping to get a definitive guide on how to get WPEngine’s deploy to work.

If you the site is working fine on the staging server but not in the production, there must be some setting in the production server that differs from the staging server that is causing the issue.
As this is this about deployment you are having issues with, we cannot provide the exact steps on how to do the migration. It would be best to get in touch with WPEngine and get information from them about the best practice on how to migrate the site to production.

Yes, I understand that there must be a setting or something that is causing the issue.
Searching through the forum I can see that many X Theme clients who are hosted on WPEngine have the same problem and it looks like Cornerstone is at the center of it.

Would you mind providing more details of the issue? Like error logs or information from hosting provider? We like to see the cause of this but hosting isn’t something we have control. All we could do for now is investigate it based on the information you may able to provide.
And please link other threads here so we may able to compare them.
We couldn’t help you with deployment since it’s their feature and only them can do it.
