WPBakery Visual Composer

I have WPBakery Visual Composer as a part of the X Theme. When the plugin needs to be updated it says the update package is not available. In researching it I discovered that you do not make that package available at the same time as WPBakery does. So I purchased the plugin from WPBakery. However they tell me I need to delete the plugin and reinstall with their plugin. They said I needed to check with you to see if this will adversely affect my website.

Thanks for asking.

As of now the compatible version for Visual Composer is 5.2.1. We need to make sure that the updated version of Visual Composer released by WPBakery is compatible with X Theme. That’s the reason why you may see bit of delay in rolling out update for Visual composer. In your case because you have purchased the licence, I suggest you to test the plugin and X Theme on a staging server before deploying back to production environment.
