We have in our site several CPTs that are checked in the WPBakery role manager. Very often these settings are lost for both administrators and editors. I assume that it doesn’t happen spontaneously and that some action in the backend is causing this. But I may be wrong.
Are you familiar with this issue? Any idea why it occurs and how to fix it?

Regretfully, I have not seen a similar case yet so I currently don’t have an idea what’s causing this. It’s most probably something in the database or database related events because settings are eventually saved in database.
I’d recommend that you monitor your site’s activities to give us an idea in case this happens again.
