WPBakery and WPML translation editor

Hi,

i try to create a multi-language site with WPBakery as page builder and theme pro. In wpml i’ve activated the “translation editor” option to translate single blocks instead of recreating the whole page.

The problem is that, as long as the “x-integration” option under WPBakery is enabled the translation is only one big block with all vc shortcodes in it, instead of separated blocks. With deactivating the “x-integration” option, everything seems to work fine.

I already tried to solve it with the wpml support, but they couldn’t help me out.

Any suggestion?

Thanks for posting in.

The integration has a different structure and yes, it will be single block as you’re translating the shortcode registered by X.

I also recommend translating them per page to prevent more issues. Duplicating them should be easy, plus, it has no big difference since you still need to translate it per block. But with per page, you can use the builder’s UI while translating it.
