WP Cost Estimation + ACF Breaking Posts

Hey, we’re having an issue on a client’s site where having Pro, Advanced Custom Fields, and WP Cost Estimation (installed from Pro Addons) all active seems to be breaking the loop on editing pages. Instead of getting the custom post type info, the fields are populated with the ACF group info (title, permalink). On anything using Gutenberg it’s just a white screen, likely because the wrong ID is being requested. Any help or timeline on updates to solve this?

Troubleshooting steps:

  • Deactivated pro - solved the issue
  • Reactivated pro & deactivated ACF - solved the issue
  • Reactivated ACF and deactivated WP Cost Estimation - solved the issue

Something about these three together is getting the site a little tipsy. Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you for writing in, please do the following:

  • Ensure that you are fully up to date. WordPress, Theme, Cornerstone, ACF, and WP Cost Estimation (Version Compatibility)
  • Clear all the site caches ( plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache ) so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors. While you’re at it, please deactivate this caching feature while we tackle this issue.
  • Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If nothing works, please provide us login credentials in a “Secure Note” so we can take a closer look.
