WP and Site Host showing different PHP versions

Last month, I manually changed my PHP version to 7.4.33 because I saw it was a quick fix to not seeing my pages to edit in Cornerstone. I’ve launched the site, and switched to the host’s automatic PHP updates. How do I sync WP and site host versions (I’m assuming the editing hiccup is now resolved)?

Currently WP shows version 7.4.33 and host shows 8.2.30

Thanks for writing in! Your server’s PHP version may be 8.2, but the assigned PHP version for your WordPress site domain is 7.4. You will have to check this in your Hosting Panel.

Is it the same for SiteGround? Do they use GoDaddy??

Hello @camomus,

The PHP version is set per domain in most of the hosting servers. You need to contact the hosting server provider to set the PHP version for your domain.
