Hi there,
Since WP 6.7 was released, auto
has been added to images that are lazy loaded with loading="lazy"
.
As a result of this, some images are distorted in size.
Please can this be fixed.

Hi Alison,
Thanks for reaching out.
It will be very difficult to recognize the issue here. Can you please share the URL where you are facing the issue? This needs to be investigated through the WordPress admin dashboard too, I would suggest you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– Specific page where you are facing the issue.
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
Thanks
Hi there,
Thanks for responding. I have added a secure note with the webpage it happens on.
Just scroll down to see “What our students say” to see the issue.
Hi Alison,
It seems that the Attachment Srcset is enabled for those images. I would suggest you disable it and check if that resolves your problem or not. There is an ongoing problem with the said attributes, and we are investigating it.
Thanks
Hi @tristup,
Thanks for the info.
Do you have a timeline for when the issue will be fixed without the provided workaround?
Thanks
From their post there is comment thread at the bottom about this bug. It might be fixed in WordPress 6.7.1. There is a filter in the comments about removing the auto
added to sizes. We’re not sure about an actual timeline though for a fix or workaround from WordPress.
