Would like to request a custom fix for an updated version

Hi!

Currently I’m running on 5.2.5 X theme: https://www.ponylab.studio/

Everything works fine.
But when I’m updating to the latest version = everything brokes: https://wordpress-156309-572818.cloudwaysapps.com/

I understand this might be out of your standard support, so maybe I could order from you guys to fix everything, so my website will look the same on the latest theme version?

If yes, with whom should I get in touch and how much that might cost?

Thank you!

Hi There @Kashevko

Thanks for writing in! I have tested your CloudWays example site and it seems to be related to caching and CSS/JS minifications. Could you please try purging your server cache and also disable CSS and JavaScript autominifications on your site. I think it should be Breeze caching that you’re using on CloudWays.

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hi!

Hmm, that’s strange.
When I’ve entered the staging website again - it was great.
So I’ve update my live site and got the same problem…

I’ve tried to clear the cloudways and cloudflare cache, disabling minifying plugin, clearing my browser cache… Issue is still here.

What it could be?

Thanks!

Hey @Kashevko.

Though you said you have completely cleared caches, I still see a JS error coming from a minified JS file so this means caching is still in effect. Would you mind purging all caches again and disable your caching plugin and disconnect your site from Cloudflare just so we can drill down where the issue is coming from? Since you said your staging site is working, the issue is most probably caching.

Thanks.

Hey @christian_y

thanks for the insights!
Did everything as you wrote, purged cache few times, all is the same…

I’m attaching credentials in the security note if you would like to have a look on your own.

Hi There @Kashevko

I see that you’re using CloudFlare on that site. Please login to your CloudFlare account and purge full site cache. Also head over to Speed tab of your CloudFlare account and disable CSS/JavaScript minifications.

That should resolve this issue.

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hi!

I have already did this before (purge full site cache).
Did this several times now too, no changes.

I haven’t CSS/javascript minifications enabled in the speed tab, because I’m using Fast Velocity Minify plugin, but currently it’s disabled and purged too.

Hi @Kashevko,

You should update your cornerstone too, it still old. With older version, every section of your page will be blank. Your current cornerstone is 2.1.7 and should be updated to 3.2.5 to match your current X 5.2.5.

Thanks!

Hey RAD,

AWESOME! THANK YOU!

You are most welcome.
