Workspace preferences not remembered

Hey, has anyone seen that their workspace setup is suddenly not being honored. I’m seeing this on multiple sites all of a sudden. I like to have my tool bar pinned to the top of the screen rather than all the way to the left as it is by default.

Now, while working on a site, I have to keep putting that back each time I work on a different page. Other things like the size of the text element’s text editor box is not being remembered either. This was not happening before (unless I cleared my cookies, which is totally acceptable). But this is just happening everywhere now even within the same session.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for writing in!

Please make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme. And then go to Cornerstone > Settings > System and hit the “Clear Style Cache” button.

While working in the builder, your workspace arrangement including the size of the element content modal will be saved. Please do check out my demo video screencast below:

Yes, I’ve been using 5.0.8 everywhere. I will go and clear the style cache when I see this issue happening on any sites I manage and see if it helps. The issue came on suddenly it seemed and I didn’t know if you guys were working on some known issue maybe. I’ll keep my eye on it and post something if I learn more.

Hey @simeoned,

It’s my first report I know and I could not replicate this in any of my test sites so this could be isolated to the web host and/or WordPress setup.

If this happens again, it would be best to have a list of steps to replicate the issue.
