Wordpress site is not displaying any cornerstone content but content is still there

Hi,

Today, my website is currently not displaying any cornerstone content. However, when I view edit page, I’m able to see the CS content codes.

This is happening for all pages and I did not do any edits recently. I also tried disabling most plugins and the error still occurs.

How can I get the CS content to display properly for all my pages?

Hi @ianlamze,

Unfortunately, the given credentials are not working. Can you please check and send it once again ?

Thanks

Hi Tristup,

Apologies, I’ve fixed the credentials and it should work now.

Thank you!

Hi! Just to wanted to check if you managed to see this, just in case this ticket might be overlooked.

Hi @ianlamze,

I have checked a few pages and found the Cornerstone content is there, but it is not showing in the Builder. It only happens if you update the pages using the default editor or if Gutenberg is not editable in the Cornerstone, and vice versa. If that is not the case, you can ask your Hosting Service provider to restore the backup up to the last working condition, and please copy your live site to a staging server and update the Pro and check if that works. And if everything goes fine in your staging, please migrate the staging server to live and try to activate the license once again.
If that does not work, and you still get the same problem, please share the credentials of your staging site in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hi Tristup, it still does not work unfortunately and we do not have a staging site at the moment. We did not make any edits via the default editor (as this occurs for all our pages, it will be unlikely we edited every single page). Is there a way to restore the contents since we have the cornerstone contents still preserved?

Hi Tristup, I managed to get my server provider to do a rollback to the latest backup and it now works. I think it could have been an issue when the website did an auto update to the latest version which broke the editor.

I did a manual update and it now works.

Thank you.

Hi @ianlamze,

Glad to know that everything is working now after restoration. But the Pro needs to be updated to check what problem is occurring at your end, and to avoid any problem in your live site, staging is the only way. I would suggest you create a staging as suggested and let us know for further investigation.

Thanks
