Hi There,

Upon checking your website, I see some JS errors.

Please try testing a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

i deactivated all plugins and also each one of them separately. but the customizer does not load.

Hi @iTurtle,

I think I reply to your other thread regarding this, the jQuery error is due to MEJS library from Wordpress itself, and it looks like your site is still serving the older version of the asset files. Could you check if you have internal cache (host cache) and clear them?

hi rad,
i cleared all cache files with W3 Total Cache and with wp super cache and with comet cache. i cleared the browser cache and logged out and back in again. i reinstalled wordpress. but the customizer keeps hiding.

Hello Kai,

I see the error is still there. Since I can’t duplicate the issue, I did some search and found the following:

It seems a wordpress core issue when using other profile language.
All theme options are available also on Pro > Launch > Theme Options. We do recommend to use that part instead of Customizer. Since we don’t yet when wordpress can issue a patch for the error, please use Theme Options for theme related settings.

hi lely, thanks so much for finding that out! this time it actually was wordpress (german formal version 4.9) to blame. i updated pro and then wp at the same time… sorry. even the media library did not load anymore. only cure: downgrading wp. now the customizer and media lib are back :slight_smile: thanks again! kai
