Wordpress created Post's not displaying content in Cornerstone

I create a Post in Wordpress’s editor and published it “privately”. When I go back to the lists of posts and click “Edit in Cornerstone”, the post opens in Cornerstone but the content of the post is not visible.

What is displayed is:

  • masthead image
  • title
  • post meta data (published date, category, “leave a comment”
  • comments section

Also, none of those elements that are displaying are editable. They do not highlight when hovered over and the Layout tab in Cornerstone shows that I have no Sections.

If I click save and go back to Wordpress and edit in Wordpress, all the content in the Post is gone except for the [cs_content][/cs_content] tags under the title.

If you create a Post, do have to initiate and complete the creation in Wordpress or Cornerstone but not switch between both?

Brand new to this so I might simply be missing something.

Hi Robert,

That’s correct, wordpress editor and cornerstone are not interchangeable. This is also true to all other page builders like Visual Composer. You will need to decide from the start which one to use.

Thanks
